Terms & Conditions


  1. Sino Club Limited (the "Sino Club") is the organiser of "Tour to Singapore @ Sino Club 2017 Sino Club Privilege Member Referral Programme" (the "Programme"). 
  2. The Programme starts at 1:00pm on 21 July 2017 and ends at 11:59pm on 3 September 2017 (Hong Kong time) (the "Programme Period").
  3. Member who refers family, friends and colleagues to register as Sino Club Privilege Members (the "Referrer"):
    (i) must be an existing Sino Club Privilege Member and his or her membership must be approved by Sino Club on or before 1:00pm on 21 July 2017;
    (ii) must have an effective membership number that stored in the computing system of Sino Club
    (iii) must agree to and comply with the terms and conditions of this Programme.
  4. The newly registered Sino Club Privilege Member who accepts referral invitation (the "Referee") must not be a Sino Club Privilege Member before 1:00pm on 21 July 2017.
  5. For each successful referral, the Referrer may receive a HK$100 shopping voucher subject to availability of stocks. The Referrer may receive at most 10 shopping vouchers upon successfully referring newly registered Sino Club Privilege Members. The number of shopping vouchers available for this Programme is limited to 3,000. The top 4 to 10 Referrers who invite the most number of family, friends and colleagues to successfully register as Sino Club Privilege Members will win a set of two Singapore Airlines' round-trip flight tickets from Hong Kong to Singapore on Economy Class. If there are more than one Referrer who have referred the same number of Referees, the Referrer who first meets the required number of successful referrals in time (Hong Kong time) will be eligible for the relevant prize. The time of which the Referrer has met the required number of successful referrals shall be based on that stored in the computing system of Sino Club.
  6. Photos and videos will be taken by Sino Club during the event. All participants once participating in the event shall be regarded as having given consent to Sino Group and/or Sino Club to have the copyright and the right to use their image in the photos and/or videos taken during the event, which will be used for marketing or promotional purpose.
  7. Each Referee must join the Programme through designated website (https://www.sinoclub.com/en/mgm/registration.php) by filling in relevant information, uploading relevant proof of identity for verification and completing the registration procedure within the Programme Period. Each Referee is not allowed to register in the Programme more than once. Referee who has successfully registered to become a Sino Club Privilege Member during the Programme Period will stand a chance to receive a welcome gift. Upon being successfully approved as a Privilege Member, the Referee should collect the reward of welcome gift  (a bottle of Rosé, subject to stocks last) from Sino Club at 5/F, West Wing, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui between 26 September 2017 and 25 October 2017. If the Referee cannot collect the reward during the aforesaid designated period, the Referee will be deemed to have voluntarily given up the reward. No postal delivery service will be arranged.
  8. Only one referral for each Referee will be counted. In the event that a Referee is referred by more than one Referrer, the successful referral will be based on the details of the Referrer that have confirmed by the Referee. The number of successful referrals by each Referrer shall be based on the approval records of Sino Club, which shall be conclusive. Membership application approval is confidential information, Sino Club cannot disclose the approval status of  the Referee. A Referrer cannot refer himself/herself or any staff of Sino Group/Sino Club.
  9. The Referrer must ensure that the Referee welcomes this Programme before sharing with him/her the Programme's information. Sino Club is not the sender of the information to any Referee, and will not assume any responsibility thereon. The personal data of family, friends and colleagues provided by Referrer for participating this Programme is solely for the purpose of sharing the Programme information. The related data will not be transferred to Sino Club for other purposes.
  10. Sino Club Privilege Members must be individual aged 18 or above and owners of Sino Group residential properties (solely or jointly developed by Sino Group), tenants or residents of residential/commercial/industrial/retail properties. Car parking spaces, motorcycle parking spaces and bicycle parking spaces and overseas properties are excluded. Referee must provide the Referrer's Sino Club membership number and proof of identity for verification. Proof of identity includes but not limited to: 
    • Sino Group Property Owner: Rates and Government Rent Demand Note/ Relevant Assignment 1
    • Sino Group Property Tenant: Tenancy Agreement 1,2
    • Sino Group Property Resident: Proof of Residence 1,3
    1 Sino Group properties exclude car parking spaces, motorcycle parking spaces and bicycle parking spaces and overseas properties
    2 Only Authorized Signatories of the tenant under Tenancy Agreement are eligible
    3 Management fee deposit receipt and management fee receipt are not accepted as proof of residence
    All information collected and kept shall be based on those stored in the computing system of Sino Club which shall be conclusive.
  11. Referees who are successful in their Sino Club Privilege Membership applications will receive an email confirmation. This email confirmation is not to be regarded as any indication that the Referee will be awarded the welcome gift.
  12. Referrers and Referees being awarded the prize or gift will be notified by email on or before 11:59pm on 19 September 2017 (Hong Kong time) for the redemption details. The redemption is valid only within the designated period.
  13. Sino Club will contact the top 10 winning Referrers and inform them the prize redemption details by phone and email. Any Referrer who has changed his or her phone number or email should update the new number or new email address in Sino Club computing system to avoid any adverse impact on the prize notification. Any resulting loss will be borne by the Referrer.
  14. All prizes and gifts are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the respective suppliers. They cannot be exchanged, converted into cash, changed to other gifts/products or transferred to a third party. Photos on the promotional materials are for reference only. Prize or gift awarded will be subject to the actual products provided by the respective suppliers.
  15. Sino Club reserves the right to replace the prize or gift with any alternative reward of the same value without prior notice.
  16. Travel tickets awarded do not include travel insurance. Winners are responsible for taking care of their own insurances at their own expenses and for all other expenses for their journey. The two round-trip flight tickets for the 2nd prize winners (7 Referrers) must be for the same journey set off on or before 31 January 2018 (excluding 15 to 17 September 2017, 29 September 2017 to 5 October 2017 and 22 December 2017 to 1 January 2018).
  17. Sino Club, its marketing partners or any other relevant parties will not bear any responsibility regarding the prizes, including but not limited to their quality, after-sales or repair service, or any loss or damage caused in whatever respect. Any enquiry or complaints on the prizes or services shall be made to the respective suppliers directly.
  18. As Sino Club is not the service provider of the air tickets, Sino Club does not warrant and cannot be held liable for the supply or quality of service and herein, makes no representation or warranty in relation to the service. In case of any bad weather or special circumstances that affect the flight schedules, the holders of the air tickets shall refer to the announcement or notification made by the service provider. Sino Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the air tickets.
  19. To ensure fairness, all staff of Sino Group and Sino Club and Sino Club's marketing partners who are involved in the Programme cannot participate in the Programme.
  20. All personal information provided must be true and accurate. Sino Club reserves the right to disqualify any Referees who appear to the organiser to have submitted unauthentic and inaccurate information or behaved in a fraudulent manner. If there is any dispute, Sino Club reserves the right to make the final decision.
  21. Sino Club shall not be responsible or liable to the participant for any discrepancy, error or inaccuracy in registered information, caused by or involved in equipment, programme or procedure failure due to or as a result of any problems of internet, computer, virus, technology or human errors.
  22. Upon any discovery or suspicion of fraud, interference to the programme or operation of the internet, system security or rules violation, Sino Club has the right to disqualify any participants/winners without any notice. Sino Club shall have full and final decision over any of the aforementioned matters.
  23. Sino Club reserves the right to approve or disapprove the Privilege Membership applications from the Referees.
  24. Sino Club reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, withdraw and/or terminate the Programme at any time without prior notice.
  25. Should any dispute arise, the decision of Sino Club shall be final and conclusive.
  26. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.​

Personal Data Collection Statement

  1. Personal data collected from participants will be used for this Programme only, including approval, notification of result, prize arrangement, and collection.
  2. The supply of data by participants is entirely voluntary. However, failure to provide the data required will result in disqualification of the participant. Data will be treated confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
  3. Each participant has the right to access his/her personal data and correct any incorrect data that is held by Sino Club. Sino Club has the right to collect reasonable administration fee for handling any request for access to personal data. Any request for access or correct personal data should be made in writing at least 7 working days in advance to the Manager of Sino Club at 5/F, West Wing, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Terms and Conditions

  • Operated by Sino Club Limited ("Sino Club"), the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") bind on all members ("Members") of the club ("Club") once the application form or online registration has been signed. Members of the Club agree and totally accept the Terms and Conditions set forth and any amendments to be made from time to time.
  • Membership

  • Members must be at least 18 years of age.
  • All applications for membership shall be subject to the approval of the Club, which it may or may not approve at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason therefor.
  • Membership may be renewed for such period and in such manner at the absolute discretion of the Club. In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, on renewal of membership, Members shall upon request prove their eligibility to membership to the Club's satisfaction and produce such documentary proof in support of the eligibility as the Club shall deem fit.
  • Members have no voting right as to the constitution, operation or management of the Club nor any right in or any claim over any assets of the Club.
  • Membership of the Club is non-transferable.
  • Membership Card

  • Each Member will be issued a membership card ("Card") by the Club upon acceptance of the membership application.
  • The Card remains the property of the Club at all times and the Club reserves the right to revoke the Card and/or terminate the membership of the Member at any time without giving any justification. Members are required to return the Card to the Club upon request.
  • The Card is non-transferable and may only be used by the Member to whom the Card is issued. If the Card is lost or stolen, it should be reported immediately to the Club. HK$50 administration fee shall be imposed by the Club for the issuance of a replacement Card.
  • The Card must be presented upon request for all transactions, offer redemptions and participation in activities of the Club.
  • Facilities and Services

  • The Club acknowledges that upon its approval for admission, Members will be eligible to receive and enjoy the facilities and services provided by the Club, subject to the Club's invitation and any specific terms and conditions imposed by the Club for provision of such facilities and services. Invitations to Members shall be at the absolute discretion of the Club. The Club shall have the right at any time at its absolute discretion without giving any reason to terminate or suspend the operation and/or provision of any facility or service.
  • The Club shall have the right to provide facilities and services to different kinds of Members subject to different terms and conditions at its absolute discretion.
  • If any of the facilities and/or services are provided by third party providers/suppliers, the use and enjoyment of such facilities and/or services shall be subject to terms and conditions laid down by such providers/suppliers.
  • The Club shall not be responsible for the refusal of any persons including any merchants or stores or providers of such facilities and/or services to honour the Card nor shall it be responsible in any way for the goods and/or services supplied by them to any Member.
  • No Member shall make use of the Club or the facilities, services, information or documents provided by the Club for any commercial, immoral, illegal or other non-designated purposes.
  • The Club's Responsibilities

  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude the Club's liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by the applicable law.
  • Subject to the preceding paragraph, the Club shall under no circumstances whatever be liable to the Member, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions; and the Club's total liability to the Member in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed HK$800.
  • Disbursement of Costs by Members

  • A charge may be imposed by the Club for disbursement of the Club's costs or expenses incurred in the provision and/or delivery of any information or document requested by the Members.
  • Alteration of Terms and Conditions

  • The Club shall have the absolute discretion to alter the Terms and Conditions from time to time and will notify the Members of any alterations made via appropriate channels.
  • All Members will be bound by such alterations unless he or she informs the Club of resignation.
  • Resignation

  • Any Member who wishes to resign from his/her membership shall give the Club at least seven working days advance notice in writing to that effect. The Card must be shredded or surrendered to the Club with the resignation notice by mail.
  • Expulsion of Members

  • The Club may, if it considers that any Member has behaved in any way injurious to the Club or contrary to the interests of the Club or has committed any breach of these Terms and Conditions, expel such Member from the membership of the Club and the decision of the Club shall be final and conclusive.
  • A Member who has been expelled from the Club shall cease to have any right, benefit or privilege of the membership and shall no longer have any right to receive and enjoy the facilities and services provided by the Club.
  • Termination of Operation of the Club

  • Sino Club shall have the right at any time at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason to terminate the operation of the Club. Upon the termination of the operation of the Club, all rights and privileges shall cease and no claim or demand of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising shall be made or capable of being made by Members against the Club, the directors, the shareholders or the management of Sino Club in connection with the termination of the operation of the Club.
  • Personal Data ("Data")

  • The collection, use, transfer, processing, retention and maintenance of your Data is subject to the Customer Data (Privacy) Policy, which shall form part of these Terms and Conditions and is available at Customer Data (Privacy) Policy. Please carefully read the terms of our Customer Data (Privacy) Policy before providing your Data to us.
  • Applicable Laws

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects according to the Laws of Hong Kong. The parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts as regards any proceeding, claim, dispute or matter arising (or which may arise) out of or in connection with or relating to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Governing Version

  • If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

Terms and Conditions

  • Only one Octopus Card and plate number registration will be accepted per Sino Club member ("Member"). The Member must be the registered owner of the vehicle as appeared on the Vehicle Registration Document.
  • This offer is applicable to valid Members only. To enjoy this offer, Members must complete and submit this online application form together with a copy of the Vehicle Registration Document for Sino Club's approval.
  • If the vehicle is registered by a company, applicants must also submit the authorization proof for the use of the vehicle from the registered company as appeared on the Vehicle Registration Document (company chop and director's signature are required) and a copy of the company's Annual Return (with the same director's signature as appeared on the authorization proof).
  • Up to 30% off hourly parking is eligible for Sino Club Privilege Members only. Ordinary Members and BOC Sino Visa Cardholders can enjoy up to 20% off.
  • This offer is only applicable to eligible Members by using the registered Octopus Card for entry, exit and payment. This offer is not applicable to other modes of entry (e.g. hourly ticket) and payment method (e.g. cash).
  • This offer is only applicable to private cars or vans only. Other types of vehicle are not accepted.
  • This offer is valid until 31 December 2016, and will be cancelled automatically upon expiry.
  • This offer is applicable to the registered vehicle only and cannot be transferred or assigned. If there is any breach of the terms and conditions, Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited have the right to suspend or terminate this offer immediately without prior notice. Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited reserve the right to claim damages arising from or incidental to any breach of the terms and conditions by Members.
  • Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited assume no responsibility for any loss of this offer resulting from the system defect, Octopus Card malfunction/loss or any other reasons.
  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with free parking offer and special parking programs such as Day Park, Night Park, Park & Broad and Park & Ride, etc. The system shall charge the lowest fee among different parking schemes.
  • The parking charges after the discount offer will be rounded up to one decimal place.
  • Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited have the right to reject any application for this offer without giving any reason.
  • In case of disputes, the decision of Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited shall be final and conclusive.
  • Sino Club and Sino Parking Services Limited reserve the right to alter or change the terms and conditions, and to alter, change or terminate this offer from time to time and will notify the Members of any alterations made via appropriate channel.

Supply of Personal Data

The supply of personal data ("Data") to Sino Parking Services Limited by an applicant is entirely voluntary. Data supplied will be used to facilitate the handling of matters in relation to the programme application, the carpark's management of Sino Parking Services Limited and for any other purposes in relation or incidental thereto, and may be made available to representatives of Sino Parking Services Limited including but not limited to insurance companies, consultants, contractors, agents and their respective associated companies who provide administrative, insurance, computer, cloud services, technology outsourcing, payment, data processing, marketing and other services to Sino Parking Services Limited for the purpose of carrying out management of the carpark. In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, an applicant has the right to request access to, and to request correction of his/her personal data. Any such request should be made directly to Marketing Manager Sino Parking Services Limited at 5/F, West Wing, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre, Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Data provided will be treated in confidential.

  • Any Member who wishes to resign from his/her membership shall give the Club at least seven working days advance notice in writing to that effect. The Card must be shredded or surrendered to the Club with the resignation notice by mail.
  • Expulsion of Members

  • The Club may, if it considers that any Member has behaved in any way injurious to the Club or contrary to the interests of the Club or has committed any breach of these Terms and Conditions, expel such Member from the membership of the Club and the decision of the Club shall be final and conclusive.
  • A Member who has been expelled from the Club shall cease to have any right, benefit or privilege of the membership and shall no longer have any right to receive and enjoy the facilities and services provided by the Club.
  • Termination of Operation of the Club

  • Sino Club shall have the right at any time at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason to terminate the operation of the Club. Upon the termination of the operation of the Club, all rights and privileges shall cease and no claim or demand of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising shall be made or capable of being made by Members against the Club, the directors, the shareholders or the management of Sino Club in connection with the termination of the operation of the Club.
  • Personal Data ("Data")

  • The collection, use, transfer, processing, retention and maintenance of your Data is subject to the Customer Data (Privacy) Policy, which shall form part of these Terms and Conditions and is available at Customer Data (Privacy) Policy. Please carefully read the terms of our Customer Data (Privacy) Policy before providing your Data to us.
  • Applicable Laws

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects according to the Laws of Hong Kong. The parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts as regards any proceeding, claim, dispute or matter arising (or which may arise) out of or in connection with or relating to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Governing Version

  • If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

Customer Data (Privacy) Policy

Sino Club Limited ("Sino Club", "we", "our") collects personal data (including but not limited to your name, email address, telephone number and residential/correspondence address) provided by you (whether as a user of our website, a participant in our functions and activities, an applicant for club membership or a club member, collectively known as the "customers") via various means, including our website, mobile application, club application forms and registration forms for our functions and activities, including classes, competitions and lucky draws. Sino Club will treat all personal data as confidential, and will not sell or transfer it out of Sino Club, Sino Group (the "Group") and its subsidiaries or associated and/or related companies except as provided herein below or with your consent.

Collection of customers' personal data


We do not collect any personal data from customers during their browsing of our websites. When customers visit our websites we record their visit only as a 'hit' and do not collect any personal data from them. We will however make a record of their visit that shows only the Domain Name Server address, part of their e-mail address, and of the pages visited. We use such information only for preparing general statistics on the usage of our websites.
If customers apply to become a member of the club or sign up for our functions or activities, the customers are required to supply all the personal data and other information requested in the relevant form in order to enable the Club to consider his/her application or participate in the club activities. Failure to do so may result in Sino Club being unable to process the application or allow participation in the club activities as the case may be.
Upon the acceptance of the application, the copies of required documents provided by the club members at the time of application shall be destroyed by Sino Club.

Use of customers personal data


The purposes of collecting personal data include:

  • Processing any application, including application for club membership and to maintain contact lists for correspondence;
  • Assessing and/or verifying information supplied to Sino Club;
  • Providing club services, including providing privileges, benefits and other advantages to the club members and rallying and arranging for the same to be provided by any other person including any member of the Group or any other firm, company, corporation, body or organisation (collectively, a "Relevant Person");
  • Facilitating communications between customers and Sino Club and any member of the Group, which includes encouraging feedback from club members on their needs and expectations of facilities, services and/or products of the Club, any member of the Group or any Relevant Person; following up on comments and other messages that customers submit to Sino Club through our website, mobile application and/or other means, and sending club members administrative communications about their club membership as well as business-related announcements about the Group;
  • With customers' consent, conducting direct marketing on facilities, services and/or products offered by Sino Club, any member of the Group or any Relevant Person from time to time;
  • Conducting researches and/or analysis to understand customers' needs so as to provide better facilities, services and/or products;
  • Designing new and/or enhancing existing facilities, services and/or products offered by Sino Club, any member of the Group or any Relevant Person from time to time;
  • Meeting any requirements to make disclosure under any applicable law; and
  • Any other purpose relating to the above.

Cookies


In order for us to provide customers with customizable and personalized services, we use 'cookies' to store and sometimes track information about customers who have logged-in to our website. The information collected by means of 'cookies' includes customers' login name and his or her navigation pattern. This is done without customers being aware that it is occurring. Generally, we use 'cookies' to estimate our audience size; to track customers' progress and number of entries in our promotional activities; to assist us in tracking visits to and to measure customers' traffic patterns. Personal data collected by means of 'cookies' will not be disclosed to any third parties except to those parties within our Group.

Transfer of customers' personal data


Sino Club will keep the personal data and information relating to the customers confidential but we may disclose, transfer (whether within or outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) and/or exchange any such data and information to or with any and all of the following persons or entities for the purposes set out in the above:

  • any member of the Group; and/or
  • any Relevant Person; and/or
  • any agent, contractor or third party service provider who provides administrative, computer, technology outsourcing, cloud services, payment, data processing, marketing and other services to the Sino Club or any member of the Group in connection with the operation of our business and the provision of our facilities, services and/or products to the customers.

In cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing your personal data is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating these terms or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities, we may disclose your personal data. We may also disclose or grant access to your personal data where it is requested by a government authority, is required by law or otherwise permitted by law.

Direct marketing


Sino Club may use your name, residential/correspondence address, contact number and/or email address for direct marketing on privileges, offers, promotions, invitations, games and activities relating to the following products and services:

  • Hotels, conferencing facilities and services, travel, tours, spas, sailing, arts and cultural activities, environmental care, volunteer and community events, fashion and accessories, restaurants, food and beverages, books and stationaries, watches and jewellery, health and beauty products, homeware, furniture, electronic appliances;
  • Properties for sale and for lease;
  • Property leasing with respect to industrial properties, offices, shops, shopping malls, residential properties and storage spaces; and
  • Property management services such as security, parking and hygiene services.

Sino Club may also provide/transfer your personal data to any member of the Group who provides the same products and services for their direct marketing purposes. Sino Club may not provide/transfer for use or use your personal data for direct marketing unless Sino Club has received your consent or indication of no objection.

Sino Club reserves the right to review, edit or otherwise change this policy at its sole discretion without prior notice.

Security


We will take appropriate measures to safeguard data security. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly despite our effort to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, or to or from our online products or services. You transmit all such information at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we use our best endeavours to ensure its security on our own systems.

Each customer has the right to request access to and correction of any of his/her personal data established to be inaccurate. Sino Club has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request. Sino Club will comply with any such request unless it may or is required to refuse to do so under the applicable laws and regulations.
